What ID do you accept for notarization?

California law requires a notary to verify your identity through what's called “satisfactory evidence”—either an acceptable ID document or a credible witness. Acceptable ID includes a current (or issued within the last 5 years) California driver's license or ID card, a U.S. passport, or another government-issued ID that includes your photo, physical description, signature, and an ID number. If you don't have acceptable ID on hand, we can also verify your identity through one or two credible witnesses—ask us about this option when you book.

Do I need to bring a witness?

No—if you don't have someone available to serve as a witness, we can provide one at no additional charge.

Do you work with Spanish-speaking signers or Spanish-language documents?

Yes. We're comfortable working with Spanish-speaking signers and Spanish-language documents.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, Zelle, and all major credit cards.

How far in advance should I book, and do you take same-day requests?

We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance when possible. Same-day requests are welcome and accommodated based on availability—the online scheduler will show real-time openings.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

A $25 deposit reserves your appointment and is credited toward your final invoice. Cancelling or rescheduling at least 24 hours ahead qualifies for a refund or lets you transfer the deposit to a new date. Cancellations inside 24 hours, and no-shows, forfeit the deposit. If we have to cancel and can't offer an acceptable alternative time, your deposit is refunded.
